Welcome to the Swedish Church of Paris!
Founded in 1626, the Swedish Church of Paris is a Protestant parish located on rue Médéric in the 17th arrondissement. The church, built between 1911 and 1913, is a striking red brick building inspired by Swedish architecture.
We warmly invite you to join us for special moments of community and celebration. If you love music, be sure not to miss our high-quality concerts, regularly held in this inspiring setting.
Swedish traditions are vibrantly celebrated throughout the year. One of the highlights is Saint Lucy's Day on December 13, a luminous and musical celebration marking the arrival of winter. Another must-see event is our Christmas market, a wonderful opportunity to experience Swedish culture beyond the walls of the church.
The Swedish Church is a gathering place for Swedes of all ages, whether passing through or living in Paris. Within its welcoming atmosphere, religious services are conducted in Swedish according to the Lutheran liturgy. Beyond worship, a variety of activities are organized to help everyone—regardless of background—enjoy moments of connection and feel a sense of home in the heart of the French capital.
